Szczecin Shipyard "Wulkan" has started cooperation with Meyer Werft

We are pleased to announce that Szczecin Shipyard  “Wulkan” has started a framework cooperation with Meyer Werft in the field of shipbuilding and steel structures.

Meyer Werft, as a world shipbuilding leader, placed orders in Szczecin for cruise ship blocks.

The “Wulkan” Shipyard has successfully delivered the first blocks, which is a first step of long-term cooperation. The first deliveries include: Steel structures, equipment and anti-corrosion coating.

Intensive modernization of the shipyard’s key assets, which will open up new possibilities for the construction, assembly and launching of steel structure blocks up to 4,500 tons.

In parallel with the development of technical capabilities, Szczecin Shipyard “Wulkan” systematically increase employement and adapts to the highest standards expected by customers, including the shipyard industry leader Meyer Werft.

The consistent actions of the Szczecin Shipyard “Wulkan” management board enabled the company to be certified by FROSIO in anti-corrosion systems, which will certainly strengthen the position of the Shipyard as a manufacturer of structures for the shipbuilding industry, as well as offshore winds.
